ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

Booking for the Moab Folk Festival is done on an invitation basis only. This means that our staff reviews promotional material received at our office and makes offers to those performers that fit a given year’s booking goals. Currently, we only book 12 acts per Festival.

Our selections are discussed among Festival staff prior to invitations being sent. Therefore, it is helpful if you can send a press kit including a recent recording—preferably a live recording—for our staff to listen to. Actual cds are preferred over electronic press kits as we keep all cds submitted to us in our Festival office cd library. Please send material to:

We have received hundreds of inquiries over the past several years. Please know that if you are not immediately selected, this does not mean that we have not considered you or that you will not receive an invitation for a future Festival. Having said that, please note that multiple calls or emails to our office are not encouraged unless you have updated information or material to provide to us.

Selecting performers for each year’s Festival is always a challenging, albeit rewarding, process. There is so much talent to consider! We thank you for your understanding and your patience, in addition to your interest in performing at the Moab Folk Festival.
