Why Donate?

Friends of the Moab Folk Festival (Friends) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permissible by current laws. Festival ticket sales do not cover the costs of producing our events. With increasing operational costs, performer fees, and our growing repertoire of free education and community outreach activities, Friends has an ongoing need for individual donations and sponsor contributions. When you donate, you help us bring outstanding music and culture to our region, while sustaining the arts within the larger community. Thank YOU!

Friends is a nimble organization with a dedicated and hard-working staff of two and we are so proud of all that we accomplish.  Yet, despite these accomplishments, we find ourselves facing increased local need as well as challenges to our funding streams with cuts in Federal, State, Local, and foundation funding affecting our ability to continue offering the many community services we provide. 

Please consider making a tax exempt contribution that would contribute to our ability to offer these programs without any reductions or interruptions.
